About Third Pig MasonryLaying it down for four generations
A brick and stone masonry business built on a trade handed down through four generations, with David Stohl II at the head of it.
Brick and stone, and nothing else
Third Pig Masonry builds and repairs brick and stone for homes in Winchester and the towns around it.
The work covers chimney building and repair, fireplaces, stone entranceways and pillars, brick and stone patios, walkways, steps, and stone and brick walls. The trade has been in the family for four generations, and the name says the rest: brick and stone are what a house is built to last with.
How we work
Every job starts with a look at the wall, the chimney or the site. Then you hear what it needs in plain words. New work is laid to match the house it joins, and repairs use brick, stone and mortar chosen to sit with what is already there.
Where we work
Winchester is the center of it. We also work in Stephens City, Berryville, Front Royal, Middleburg, Leesburg, Martinsburg and Berkeley Springs.

Look first
The job starts with a look at the wall, the chimney or the site. You get told what is wrong and what it needs before anyone picks up a trowel.
Matched to what is there
Brick, stone and mortar are chosen to sit with the existing work, so a repair does not read as a patch.
Brick and stone are the trade
This is masonry, not a side line. Chimneys, fireplaces, walls, patios and steps are what the work is.
Local and reachable
Working out of Winchester and the towns around it. When you call, you reach the people doing the work.
